For non-e-ink readers, the ebookwise is definitely the bargain--sturdy, well-designed, inexpensive. The problem is that it only reads its own .IMP format, so books have to be run through its conversion software, and it's a bit heavy compared to more modern ebook readers. But the people who have one, love it--they rarely show up used on eBay because people don't get tired of it.
