Amazon Kindle Reading
Advanced Amazon Kindle 2 reading tips

If you love personal technology then you would have definitely heard of the Kindle. If this name does not sound familiar to then you have clearly been away from the computer for too long. The Kindle is one of the best eBook readers in the current market. What do you mean by eBook? Basically, instead of printing books through paper, you can instead read the book in a digital format. This way, you are doing the environment a favor by reducing the amount of paper required for book printing. This article has a look at the latest version of the Kindle, The Kindle DX Wireless Reading Device. This article reviews the pros, cons, specifications, primary features and customer feedback for the Kindle DX Wireless Reading Device.
What is different about the DX version in comparison to the earlier models? Firstly, the graphite DX version of the Kindle utilizes a more sophisticated electronic ink display, which shows the text. This means you get a better contrast between the background and words. According to Amazon, the contrast will improve by as much as fifty percent so you will have an easier time reading as the text is clearer and the images are more sharp. The screen size of the Kindle has also improved. This Kindle has a 9.7" diagonal eInk screen which is ideal for various types of readings. The Kindle is basically perfect for every type of publication like newspapers, graphic-rich texts, magazines, and even blogs.
One of the greatest aspects of the Kindle is its lightness. Did you know this eBook reader is just 1/3 of an inch? This means it is nearly as thin as most magazine publications. You will also have no problems reading outside because this eBook reader comes with no glare technology. For most types of technology, you would not be able to see the screen easily in broad daylight because of the sun rays. This is not the case with the Kindle. It would feel no different to reading an actual magazine. It is that clear. How do you get the actual books though? You just have to connect it to your wireless router and you can receive new publications within seconds because the file size of eBooks is very small.
If you get it through Amazon, the main manufacturer of the Kindle, then you can also receive free 3G Wireless service. This means you can download the books anywhere at any time.
The Kindle is an awesome invention which you should check out. You should also have a look at the egg cooker.
Amazon Kindle - electronic reading device?
I am considering purchasing the Amazon Kindle but have a few quesstions.
1) I like to read fan fiction on sites like (fanfiction.com, and fictionpress.com) and I would like to know if I can put those on to the kindle or if I can only read published books?
2) The kindle runs off of a sprint card, does that mean I have to pay a phone bill or be a sprint customer?
3) Can I use an amazon gift card to by the books for my kindle, or do I have to pay with a credit card?
4) Would you recomend the Kindle or a diffrent reading device?
1) If it's not on Amazon then you can't read it on the kindle. The Kindle does not even have the entire Amazon.com inventory available.
2) According to Amazon you do not have to be a Sprint customer and you don't have to pay a phone bill.
3) I would be very surprised if they did not allow you to use an Amazon.com gift card.
4) I would not recommend the Kindle. I don't know of any other reading devices.
Here is what I do recommend: review Amazon customers 1 Star reviews. Here is where you will hear about the negatives. In my opinion some of the flaws are to big to be paying $400 for this device. Some say the cell phone-type reception is not very good, some say the "next page" buttons are too big, some say the selection is too limited, etc., etc.
With the Kindle, as with any other electronic device, the first version to come out isn't always up to par. The first release is a learning experience for the manufacturer. I used to work in the software industry and I can tell you from personal experience that software and electronics companies release products knowing full well that they have major design flaws. I strongly recommend waiting for the next version.
Keep two very important things in mind. The longer you own the Kindle and accumulate your electronic library the more and more your Kindle becomes a portable and vulnerable box of money. If you lose, break or have your Kindle stolen all of your money and e-books might be gone for good. I would check to see if there is some way to electronically recover your purchases before you buy the Kindle.
The other big thing to consider is that if you do get the Kindle you are stuck with it for life. You won't be able to transfer your purchases to another reading device from a different company. What if you learn of a better device one day? Your entire library will be committed to the Kindle. You won't be able to resell the books or lend them out either.
A few things to consider. Please check out the 1 Star reviews at Amazon and hear some of the negatives before you make the purchase.
