The Deer Hunter $5.98 Winner of five Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director, The Deer Hunter is simultaneously an audacious directorial conceit and one of the greatest films ever made about friendship and the personal impact of war. Like Apocalypse Now, it's hardly a conventional battle film--the soldier's experience was handled with greater authenticity in Platoon--but its depiction of war on an inti... |

Girl, Interrupted $7.48 Based on Susanna Kaysen's acclaimed journal-memoir, Girl, Interrupted bears inevitable resemblance to One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, and pale comparison to that earlier classic is impossible to avoid. The mental institution settings of both films guarantee a certain degree of déjà vu and at least one Oscar winner (in this case, Angelina Jolie), since playing a loony is any actor's dream gig. ... |

The Bourne Supremacy (Widescreen Edition) $3.29 Good enough to suggest long-term franchise potential, The Bourne Supremacy is a thriller fans will appreciate for its well-crafted suspense, and for its triumph of competence over logic (or lack thereof). Picking up where The Bourne Identity left off, the action begins when CIA assassin and partial amnesiac Jason Bourne (a role reprised with efficient intensity by Matt Damon) is framed for a murde... |

Kindle DX Horrible keyboard Craptastic
Written by: Kindledxbuy.com
Short Summary: The keyboard is absolutely horrible. For a device they allegedly try to put on the textbook market school, this keyboard "will absolutely kill its usefulness because nobody will be able to take notes or write on it. Perhaps I can write pages of just complaints about the keyboard alone, but I'll spare you.
Otherwise, the screen is big and beautiful and a joy to read. This is a little heavy, but the larger screen and native support for PDF allows worthwhile.
(Update: you do not need to take my word, You can read the review at Engadget [...] - "Here is a summary of a DX line of Kindle: Kindle is a 2 with a larger screen, sensor Orientation relaxation dryer, and a terrible keyboard. Seriously awful. Yes, we know that we SHOULD be focusing on things like PDF support or even content partners such as newspapers and textbook publishers, but we're having trouble getting on the keyboard - it is emblematic of some curious design choices Amazon Kindle with the DX. )
Advantages
* Large 9.7 "screen (basically, you can adapt the Kindle 2 in the whole screen area)
* The discount rate and faster cursor movement on the Kindle 2
* Native PDF support (no perfect, see below)
* The screen can be rotated (not perfect, see below)
Disadvantages:
* Keyboard Horrible - I'm 6'3 "and have fairly large hands and it is still too far apart for me to comfortably reach all the keys on my thumb (And yet you can not begin to try to touch this type). I can not imagine how much more uncomfortable Would anyone with small hands. It's awful waste of space. With real estate so they could include numbers and common symbols even though physical keys. There is only one Shift key I know that you can imagine the pleasure it is when you have to type a capital letter on this side of the keyboard. This is a classic case of features for which has been tossed aside in favor of making it look "cool".
* Heavy enough that it is uncomfortable to hold in one hand for an amount of time
* The navigation is all on the right (or left only read books?)
* Even if PDF is searchable texts, you can not select the text (a problem if you want to show, note, or even find a word in the dictionary). Why it does not work?
* Automatic rotation of the screen is too sensitive (in fact, it means that the first thing you 'll do is disable)
* The USB / charging port is on the bottom while the headphone jack is on top. Simply room where they should have be on the same side (preferably on the top, I know you can charge the device while it rests).

What is your opinion about the Amazon Kindle (1, 2 or DX)?
Do you have one? If you do, is it good (readability while load Battery, selection ...) I was also asked if the books remain indefinitely in your library or if it must be renewed, Like other reading devices
I have the Kindle 2, and I love it! I think I read over 20 books with my Kindle since I have bought a few months ago, no glitches so far! I like reading and at first I missed a little on the sense of reading books. But now, I like to keep the Kindle, the e-ink work very well and it's really like reading books ... Now I often read with the Kindle for several hours but I do not feel tired ... To charge the battery, it can be used for several days without recharging. I often disable Whispernet (wireless network) access, so my Kindle can normally last a week on one charge ... For books, I find the Kindle Store maintain rapid growth. I remember that it is 270,000 pounds Kindle available when I bought my Kindle, but now there are more than 320,000 books available. And if you do not know, Kindle books are cheaper than real books, many new books are sold at $ 9.99 or less. For books in the public domain, I can get it for free on Amazon (or some sites like http://manybooks.net/) and stored on my Kindle, so I do not need go to the library to borrow and this can be done in a few clicks on the device. Amazon also has a lot of the cheap books. I already have a bookmark a good article talking about this: http://www.speedreaderxreview.com/is-kindle-2-worth-the-price And you can keep the books forever. Kindle 2 can hold 1500 pounds, while DX Kindle can hold more. And I remember I read this review when I decided to buy my: http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=http Kindle 2% 3A% 2F%%%% 2Fwww.amazon.com 2Freview 2FR2DUM7S4XW06QN 3Fie 3DUTF8%%% 26ASIN 3DB00154JDAI 26nodeID%% 3D% 255F% 26ref 3Dcm%%%% 255Fcr 255Fcmt 255Fpr & tag = moreinfo-po-20 & linkCode = UR2 = 1789 & camp = 390957 & Creative I suggest you go either Kindle or Kindle 2 DX.
