When you use a Bluetooth mouse is more convenient and less cumbersome than using a wired mouse, it is not unusual for your mouse to stop work. The symptoms of a dead mouse Bluetooth are obvious: the mouse does not work. But is it a simple case of dead batteries or need new mouse Bluetooth device drivers?
Above all, make sure the mouse is on. Now do the same for your Bluetooth adapter. According the type of computer and the adapter, it can be an on / off switch. If the adapter or the mouse was turned off, the mouse does not work with the computer.
Next, check to see if the Bluetooth adapter has a "power management" setting. If this option is enabled, your computer may be off the adapter periodically to conserve energy. You can verify this by going to the Device Control Panel> Printers and then right click on the map, selecting Properties and see if the Power Management tab exists. If so, disable the setting that allows Windows to disable the card. Do the same for your mouse.
Once you have dismissed these issues of power, check the batteries in the mouse. Replace them if necessary, taking care to insert correctly. You may need to use button "connect" to restore communications with the computer when the mouse is back on. If the mouse has batteries in perfect condition but can not communicate, it is time to consider the possibility that its Bluetooth device drivers have become corrupt and must be replaced. Fortunately, replacing drivers Bluetooth device is easy.
There are several ways to update the drivers for Bluetooth device. One way is to uninstall the mouse, then plug it in and let Windows find and install the latest drivers for Bluetooth. This method may require that you re-pair mouse to the computer. As this is an additional step, a better approach is to use the Setup option updated driver for the mouse. Go to Control Panel and find the Device Manager. Then go to "Category Mice and other devices pointing. "Note: The mouse is what should the pilot's Bluetooth device, not the" Bluetooth Radios "if, in spite of the category Radios Bluetooth, skip class Mouse.
Find your mouse in the list and double click it. A dialog box will appear for your mouse. Make sure you select the correct mouse. For example, you might have a USB mouse and a Bluetooth mouse. Once the dialog box dialog box appears, look under the Location field to be sure it says "on the Bluetooth HID Device." Once you are sure you have the right, click Driver tab. Click on Update Driver and let Windows find the latest Bluetooth drivers for you.
Another way to update Bluetooth device drivers is to go directly to the manufacturer's website and the mouse look. For example, if you have a Logitech mouse, you navigate Logitech Web site and search for Bluetooth device drivers for the mouse. Wherever you find the Bluetooth drivers devices, once installed, you will need to restart the computer to do the final update.
DriversUpdate.org offers Bluetooth peripheral device drivers solutions as well as software reviews, downloads, and more.
What's more, an adapter or converter?
I am studying abroad soon and was wondering what is the difference between an adapter and a converter. I'm from the U.S. and I'm in Australia. What is the difference between an adapter and a converter and which is better? I will use electricity to charge my MacBook, iPod, Kindle, and a cell phone for most. I heard that using one the two runs the risk of burning on the screen of your laptop, because the burden is even more ... or something. I was wondering if anyone can help me to understand what is better / safer / more useful to bring with me. Thank you!
An adapter is just that - it allows you to plug in U.S. a device into an outlet Australia, but it does not change the voltage, etc. A voltage converter will actually convert the voltage up or down, for example. 230 115V or vice versa. If you have an eye to "brick" power supply for your laptop it will tell you the voltage range acceptable - many of these days 120v and 240v support - in this case, all you need is an adapter.
