How does the nook color 3g wifi work?
I just got a nook color for christmas, I was just wondering if the the 3g compatibility on the nook color means that I could surf the web wherever i want to even if i am not in a wifi compatible area, or if I can only surf the web in wifi compatible areas.
The current Nook Color doesn't have a 3G radio. It's Wi-Fi only. If you are connected to a Wi-Fi network you will be able to access the internet. Nook Color doesn't support Adobe Flash in it's current setup since the OS is Android 2.1. So, you might be limited on some sights that require Flash. An upgrade Android 2.2 in 2011 will give it Flash support. An App Store is in the works for the Nook, also.
